(G.N.S) Dt. 16 New Delhi Gold imports in the country declined by nearly 9 per cent to $ 24.64 billion (Rs 1.74 lakh crore) during the current financial year in April-January. According to the Commerce Ministry data, the precious metal imports were $ 27 billion in the same period of fiscal year 2018-19. The country’s trade deficit was reduced to $ 133.27 billion in the April-January period from a decrease in gold imports
