(G.N.S) Dt. 20 Chennai Tamilnadu state government will scrap nearly 1,500 cases registered against those involved in anti-CAA protests and 10 lakh cases booked for violation of Covid-19 lockdown norms in the state. Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said during his campaign at Kadayanallur on Friday. The state will also consider dropping pending cases against Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) protesters, the CM said.
