Virat Kohli chosen as PETA India’s ‘Person of the Year for 2019’

(G.N.S) Dt. 20 New Delhi Indian captain Virat Kohli has been chosen as the Person of the Year by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) 2019. PETA India said that Kohli has made many efforts for better treatment of animals. He also wrote a letter to the authorities on behalf of PETA India to release the elephant Malti used for riding in Amber Fort. This elephant was badly beaten by eight persons.
